Business and leadership guru William Montgomery is holding a unique event for business leaders on board Sea Cloud II: the largest and most elegant sailing vessel in the world.
Business leaders from round the globe will have unlimited access to high profile leaders such as Simon Woodroffe founder of YO!, Ian Ayre, managing director of Liverpool Football Club, Admiral George Zambellas, the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Royal Navy and William Montgomery, chief executive of TEN.
This elite cruise will set sail from Nice on 25 May and sail round the Italian Rivera and Tuscany Coast before returning to Nice on 28 May. Guests on board Sea Cloud II have the opportunity to take part in a leadership development programme designed for the higher echelons of FTSE 250 companies.
Simon Woodroffe, who appeared on the first series of Dragon’s Den, says: “I don’t speak much these days mostly because I have learnt the pleasure of not being a slave to my diary but I said yes to William when he asked me to speak and actually I said yes instinctively and immediately, I think because: “I love ships and this sailing ship is the best of its class in the world and the nearest to sailing a clipper that there is without climbing the mast.” “I like to do workshop things that unfold over a few days and are not one night stands on the stage, I can get to know others and learn from them and hopefully share around some of what I have learnt, and right now I could do with a dose of this “
Ian Ayre is the Managing Director of Liverpool Football Club says: “One of the things I am keen to do generally is pass on my knowledge and experience. I have learnt more working alongside great people than say reading a book or going on a course. Imparting knowledge and experience is a great way to prosper and develop. When you work in a high profile business like Liverpool Football Club people can relate to this as they feel it’s something they can understand.”
William Montgomery from TEN works with CEOs, board members and senior executives in large corporate companies all over the world to develop their leadership skills. He says: “The leadership cruise will equip guests with the tools they need to take their business to the next level. We will have 10 hours of structured leadership development with the best leaders in business, as well as networking in the fantastic setting of the Italian Rivera. There is no other leadership development like this.”
Cabins on board Sea Cloud II are amazing value and start at £500 per person. The fee is cruise only and guests will need to make their own travel arrangements to and from Nice.
