Leadership Tip

How to live well

Living well isn’t about adding years; it’s about adding energy, clarity and purpose to each day. Researchers say your morning routine could hold the key. How you start the day shapes how you lead it. Here’s how to lead your day,  and your life, with longevity in mind:

  1. Hydrate right away – water jump-starts metabolism and brain function.

  2. Eat a nutrient-dense breakfast – think protein, fibre and colour.

  3. Stretch your body – movement signals vitality.

  4. Activate your nervous system – a brisk walk or cold splash works wonders.

  5. Practice mindfulness – calm mind, steady heart.

  6. Set intentions for the day – lead with focus, not habit.

  7. Enjoy your morning coffee – longevity doesn’t mean losing life’s pleasures.
