We live in unprecedented times of uncertainty and change as organisations and teams experience fast-moving transformations like never before. During these times, great leaders think and act decisively and re-prioritize needs while setting an example for others in the team. Here are a few tips for leading through uncertainty.

  1. Change. Leaders must guide their teams through uncertainty with clarity and confidence, acknowledging change as a constant.

  2. Communication. Open communication builds trust, ensuring everyone understands the reasons, impact and strategies for adapting to change.

  3. Adaptability. Encourage a growth mindset and provide support for team members to develop the skills needed to thrive new situations.

  4. Resilience. Demonstrate resilience and flexibility, inspiring your team to view change as an opportunity for growth.
