Leadership Tip

How to keep your to-do-list fresh

In a world of constant distractions and endless demands, keeping a to-do list is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to stay organized and productive. However, the challenge isn’t just in creating a list - it’s in keeping it fresh, relevant, and motivating. Whether you’re a long-time list-maker or someone looking to revamp their productivity approach, these tips will help you re-energize your to-do list and make it work for you, not against you.

  1. Do it. It may take you less time than you think.
  2. Diarise it. Find a time slot on your calendar when you can get the task done. If it's important enough to have on your list, then commit to doing it at a specific time and day.
  3. Dump it. If you're not willing to do something immediately or schedule it for later, you won't ever do it. Accept that it's not really a priority and take it off your list.
